Texture to me = tree trunks. Every day when I walk into work through the court yard I see those beautiful smooth trunked trees and think…texture. I’d show you a picture but I never have time for such things and then I think, “I’ll come on my day off”. lol
Okay, so I don’t have the courtyard trees yet but here are some other beautifully textured tree trunks I love.
Trees are fabulous and so many different textures as you have illustrated here. What makes those holes in #3? A woodpecker? They seem unusually large.

I do not know. The only guess I have ever had was a woodpecker.

I was puzzled by the holes too. It looks like a very puzzled or determined board or a whole family! Have you finished the Festival of Leaves for this year? I was planning to link in but am not sure where to link to.
