What irritates you about the home you live in?
I live in a house that was built in 1929, so there is always something. This week I had the plumber here to change the faucet in the shower (which is a makeshift thing in a claw foot tub). He was here for four hours! I can’t wait to get that bill!
Who is your favorite author and why?
I don’t have a favorite author but there are many that I enjoy. I like Ken Follet, his Kingsbridge series beginning with Pillars of the Earth, and The Century Trilogy , ending with The Edge of Eternity, are among some of my favorite books. Other favorite authors are Pat Conroy, Jodi Picoult, Jonathan Kellerman, Nicholas Sparks, and Liane Moriarty. I have recently discovered Fredrick Backman, who I think given time, and a few more reads, will end up on this list. I also really like listening to Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels, but I believe that is mostly due to her narrator, Lorelei King.
