What was your dream job as a child?
I’ve always wanted to be some kind of a writer or journalist. What really interests me is human interest reporting. My favorite TV show is CBS Sunday Morning, mostly I think, because its primary content is human interest. I grew up watching Charles Kuralt On the Road, with my dad, and have followed all of his successors with equal admiration.
Bill Geist reported on the quirkiest stories and often made me laugh. Steve Hartman, who is the latest to fill those shoes, shares the most touching narratives that usually leave me smiling through my tears.
Those are the kind of stories I would want to write. Tales about people and the stories that make them unique.
