Bloganuary 2023: Two Songs That Speak to Me

What is a song or poem that speaks to you and why?

I used to do a weekly post on my page called #MusicMonday and since I didn’t know off the bat what song speaks to me and since that changes all the time I went back to look over some I had posted. Two stood out for me.

The first is Music Monday:Forgiveness a song by Toby Mac. It really made me think. Have I forgiven? I have been wronged by a few people who I now keep at arm’s length. I’m not sure I have forgiven them. But I am also not sure they have asked for forgiveness. I’m still mulling this one over.

Another song, one that I find especially beautiful, I posted here  Music Monday: Country Words to Live By. This one is sung by Tim McGraw and its words are a lesson I wish I had learned in my youth and one I wish I had instilled in my children. But better late than never, right?
