There is something delightful about the dogwoods in bloom. Of course, all the spring blossoms bring me JoY, but the Dogwood, I don’t know, there is something extra. Perhaps it is because it is the Virginia state flower and tree. I just find their appearance delightful (don’t you love that word, delightful?).

My dogwoods are way behind like everything else this spring. They are usually one of the last trees to bloom out too. š š
