I liked the Preamble and decided to read more of the story.

Wonderful. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story also.

I kind of expected the father to start out with good intentions and switch to more resentment of the mom making a big deal and him thinking it made him look bad, but maybe he does that switch after the drinking. Nice complexity to the situation by showing how everyone has a different point of view.

This page would be a little easier to follow if each installment opened in a new window and left this index page open behind it. I started using Shift/Tab to read them.

On this computer I can hold down control and click on the link to get a new window, but the links you added to the bottom of each section help a lot.

That doesn’t work on every computer, so I hope you delete this one and use the next one, which works on most.

Delete what? I’m confused. Next one?

The comment with the shift tab, and this one, can go. Holding the Control button while clicking works better.

They are stunning, do you know they should all be written into a film script, it would make an absolutely fantastic film. The lives of a family shared with the viewer, the thoughts, feelings, how each viewer will see something of themselves in a character, I know I did. My father would rather have beer instead of his family. He died 5 years ago and talking to him in his last weeks, Rays words echoed around, my father was sorry for the violence, sorry for not being a father, sorry for walking away and he still loved my mother. He died on St Valentines day, ironic for a man that slept with many women but loved only one which he couldn’t have because he didn’t know how to live in a family.
You must get in down and produce a script. 🙂
