My best photo of the week for this week is my favorite because it was taken on New Year’s Day at the Shenandoah River State Park. They were having a photography contest: “Virginia State Parks First Day Hikes” so my grandson and I decided to participate.

Voted! I’m surprised there’s not snow on the ground. I had visions of practically the entire rest of the country being blanketed (I’m in FL!). Great photo! 🙂
