Velvet Verbosity: Underhanded

Don’t tell me your lies
Don’t tell me I can’t handle the truth
Let me decide what I can handle

I’m a big girl

I don’t need you to protect me
Lying to me is not protecting me
Lying to me is protecting you.

Don’t tell me your lies
Don’t tell me you don’t want to hurt me
Then do it anyway

You are the one who is afraid of pain
You can’t bear to look at me and see the man you have become reflected in my eyes.
Lying to me doesn’t change that

No more lies
It’s Underhanded.
