Bloganuary Day 1-8

Word Press is Hosting Bloganuary for the month, giving us daily prompts or questions to blog about. I can’t keep up with it daily so I am doing a re-cap for the week. Here is week one (an 8 day week), the questions and my answers:

January 1: What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Do not marry him.

19 years old

January 2: What is a road trip you would love to take?
If I had the money (and I mean LOTS of money), I would love to travel the U.S. coast to coast.

January 3: Write about the last time you left your comfort zone.
I suppose it has been two years ago.

January 4: What was your favorite toy as a child?
When I was a kid there were these dolls called “Dawn dolls“. They were like Barbies but smaller and since my name is Dawn I had one and my sister had one she named Deanna (that’s her name).

January 5: What is something you wish you knew how to do?
As someone else said, type. I can hunt and peck but I could maybe get a better job or pound out a best selling novel if I didn’t look at the keys.

January 6: What is something that inspires you, and why?
Kindness, because here is not enough of it.

January 7: What makes you laugh?
Funny witty people.

January 8: What do you like most about your writing?
My voice. I believe you can hear it in my writing.

  1. I was hoping I would get with it in January and start posting regularly again. I was so glad WP decided to give us the Bloganuary prompts. But I still haven’t posted on one of them. I finally decided today not to beat up on myself. I’ll just keep a link to the prompts and use them to kindle writing ideas later in the year. Sooner or later, I’ll surely start writing on one of them. đŸ™‚
