I decided to make a return visit to one of the most Poplar places on The Drive. It’s a little early yet for fall color but the yellows are making a show of it!
We won’t be getting near peak until about the third week of October. You can check the estimations for your area by clicking here: Fall Foliage Prediction Map
I love autumn so I am hosting the 2019 Festival of Leaves Challenge I will post every Sunday and I invite everyone to join in any time through the week in any or all weeks. You can link to this post or to any weekly post. Be sure to tag your post Festival of Leaves so it is easy to find in the reader.
Autumn is my favorite season. See more images of autumn by clicking here: A Lingering Look at Autumn

I will have to check out your map, although, here in NorCal, our peak seems to be Veterans day. But when it happens in our Tree City USA, it’s stunning!

Not much happening here either except some yellowing. And the Virginia Creeper is turning red. I shall have to grab a shot of that for next week. Meanwhile something edible: https://wp.me/p79zFr-2nb
