The fun thing about my weekly Festival of Leaves Challenge is that I have to go out each week and search for color. Right now one of the best places to go is through The George Washington National Forest. I prefer to go in the middle of the day because the roads are very twisted and squiggly and people who live on the outskirts of the forest don’t take kindly to slower mover vehicles during their commute.
Trees are always full of twists and squiggles. Great capture Dawn 😀

The trees make a nice tunnel effect – and nice leaf color
Also – nice of you to avoid the commute time to not slow folks down 🧡

Yes, I do hate getting in people’s way. I remember being a young mother, kids husband, job, homework, dinner, baths,,,agghh! I was always in a hurry!
