I spoil myself. I fill my senses with indulgences. Sweet chocolates, food enhancing wines and the food to go with them, floral bouquets for their aromas, experiences for the pleasure, friendships for their joy. These are the choices I make.
I try to live by the choices I make and not by the ones made for me. There are still plenty of choices made for me but I have no control over them. I let them go by choosing a glass of wine, a rich dark chocolate, a bouquet of cut flowers, a trip with my camera, time with friends.
This post is in response to the 100 word writing challenge from Velvet Verbosity where we are asked to write 100 words inspired by a single prompt. This week’s word is Indulge.
I can actually identify with some of this!
